OUR CURRICULUM
The Alliance Française de Las Vegas organizes its teaching on the most modern teaching methods and on the CEFR (the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), a guideline used internationally to describe the level of fluency achieved by a foreign language learner. The CEFR divides learners into three broad divisions that can be divided into six levels: A Basic User (A1 Breakthrough or beginner and A2 Waystage or elementary), B Independent User (B1 Threshold or intermediate, B2 Vantage or upper intermediate) and C Proficient User (C1 Effective Operational Proficiency or advanced C2 Mastery or proficiency). Courses focus on conversational French with active student participation. Our general French program is composed of different stages, suitable for absolute beginners to advanced speakers.
